World number one Golfer Vijay Singh (Fiji), Hollywood director Manoj Night Shyamalan (US), writer Vikram Seth (UK) and telecom Wizard Sam Pitroda (US) are among the 15 prominent personalities who will be conferred the ''Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Awards'' at the ''Pravasi Bhartiya Divas'' celebrations to be held in Mumbai from January 7.

Walt Disney launches channels for children in India
Mickey Mouse finally has an Indian passport ending 10 years of chequered history which saw some traumatic splits and patchups. Starting tomorrow, with the primary objective of redefining appropriate television viewing, Walt Disney Television International India (WDTV-I) will launch two channels in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu as part of the Star family bouquet.
